Field Types

Every field has a key, label, and optional value.

text	String, optionally multiline or URL-oriented
text + rich	Markdown string rendered by the section via <RichText>. Alone: inline marks (bold, italic, code, links); with multiline: headings, lists, quotes, rules, and line breaks too. Edited with the toolbar control when the host wires richTextControl from @dollie_ai/editor/richtext

The legacy illustration field remains supported. Prefer element with accepts: ["illustration"] for new catalogs.

visibleWhen can hide an inspector field based on a sibling prop. Hiding a field does not delete its stored value.

Post editing

Body fields use kind: "text", rich: true, multiline: true and store Markdown. Featured images use kind: "element", accepts: ["image"] to expose the native image picker. Set the runtime canvas layout to post for article-width editing.
